Automotive Aptitude took care of my and my roommate's car. After they were done, both vehicles were soooo clean! I did a couple of other quotes for a few different places. Out of the 6 that I contacted, they were the most affordable and provided the most amount of services. One thing to note is that you will need a hose or water source for them to connect to so they can wash your car. Interior shampoo for two cars and a scratch removal for one took about 4 hours. They were really responsive and did a great job with both vehicles. We would reach out to them again when we need our cars cleaned.

We are enthusiasts before we are detailers, and it shows in the work: paint depth measured, products matched to the surface, nothing rushed.

Questions
Before you book
What is the difference between this and a car wash?
A wash takes the loose dirt off and drags the rest across your paint. A detail lifts the contamination out, cleans the wheels at the barrel, and resets the interior piece by piece.
Do you come to me?
Yes. Los Angeles and Orange County, your driveway or your office lot. We bring our own water and power.
Do I need to provide anything?
No. We carry water, power and the rest. All we need is room to walk around the car.
How long does it take?
A maintenance wash runs about an hour and twenty. A full detail is around three and a half hours. Coatings and correction run six hours and up depending on condition.
Do you go through my trunk or glovebox?
No. We do not clean trunks of sedans, or the glovebox and center console, unless you ask us to. It is written into our Private Space Policy below.
How much does it cost?
Maintenance starts at $75, detailing packages at $150, correction at $525 and coatings at $775. Every service and every price is published on the services page.
Can I book more than one service?
Yes, and most people do. Interior and exterior stack in the same visit and the total time adjusts.
What if I do not know what I need?
Call us and describe the car. Most of the time the answer is one of three services, and we would rather point you at the cheaper one that fits.
Private Space Policy
We do not clean the trunk of a sedan, or the glovebox and center console of any vehicle, unless you ask us to. Say so when we talk and we will take care of them.
