You park at the Promenade for a Wingstop run, and ten minutes later there is a new layer of dust on the hood. Wash it Saturday, and by Wednesday the sprinklers on your street and the 605 have already put the film right back.
Half this city drives something new. If you picked yours up at Cerritos Auto Square, you remember exactly how it looked rolling off Studebaker. Keeping it that way is the part the dealership never mentions.
The wash is where it goes wrong. Soap only takes off what is loose, and anything bonded into the clear coat stays exactly where it is. Tunnel brushes trade that grime for the fine swirls you notice in the sun outside Los Cerritos Center.

That is the difference between a fifteen dollar tunnel and what we do. Not how it looks the day of, but what it looks like three weeks later.
Most weeks we are already here, working in driveways off Studebaker or over by the Auto Square. Home base is close enough that travel almost never comes up.
Dust is the constant here, and it settles back in by midweek no matter how well the car was washed. A sealed or coated finish gives it far less to hold, so a rinse actually gets you back to clean. Older paint usually wants correction first.

I am Jaycen. I started Automotive Aptitude four years ago out of Cerritos and I am still the one doing the work, start to finish. Over a thousand cars later, the van still leaves from here most mornings.
Everything from a daily driver Camry to a GT3 RS gets the same process. That is not a slogan. It is how I was taught to work and the only way I know how to hand a car back.
I am insured, and I will show you the certificate if you ask. If something is not right, say so at the walkthrough before I pack up. I would rather spend another twenty minutes on it than have you find it later.

The math
What a new car really costs to keep new
Cerritos buys more new cars than anywhere we work. The day you get it is the cheapest day it will ever be to protect, because paint that has never been scrubbed needs almost no fixing first.
The one-year coating is $800. The seven-year is $1,600 and works out to about $19 a month. Kept nice once beats fixed twice, and the longest option is the cheapest one to own.
Every coating includes fixing the paint first, because a coating locks in whatever is under it.
Questions we get a lot in Cerritos
Do you charge extra to come out to Cerritos?
No. Cerritos is home base, so there is no travel charge here. Everything from the Auto Square to the tracts off Bloomfield is a few minutes from the van.
What do most people in Cerritos book?
A full detail, and then a ceramic coating once they see what the paint looks like underneath. A lot of cars here are newer, so protecting a good finish makes more sense than repairing a tired one.
My car is new from the Auto Square. Should I coat it now or wait?
Now. New paint needs almost no correction, so the whole job goes into protection instead of repair. It is the cheapest point in a car’s life to do it and the best result you will ever get on that finish.
Why is my car dusty again two days after a wash?
Cerritos sits between the 605, the 91 and the 5, so what settles here is road film rather than loose dirt. A sealed or coated finish gives it far less to hold, and a rinse actually gets you back to clean.
We have three cars in the driveway. Can you do them all?
Yes, and it works out cheaper per car because we set up once. Multi-car driveways are normal here and we book them as a single visit.
I have never had my car detailed. Where do I start?
A maintenance wash. Two hours, and it shows you what your car looks like when it is genuinely clean rather than just wet. I will tell you honestly whether it needs anything more.
Can you work in the HOA tracts where there is no hose bib?
Yes. The van carries its own water and power, so a hose bib never matters. All I need is the parking space in front of your place, and everything else rides in with me.
Do you cover the Auto Square dealerships?
If you just picked the car up there, yes — plenty of coatings start within a mile of the Auto Square, booked by the owner the week they take delivery. I work for you, not the dealership, so the inspection and the walkaround happen with you at the car.
