You take the 22 or the 605 out in the morning and bring home a film of brake dust and road grime that a quick rinse never really touches. Wash it Saturday, and by Wednesday it is sitting on the hood again.
Plenty of driveways here have something new in them. Cypress buys nice cars and holds onto them, and keeping one looking new is the part nobody covers at signing. Park along Katella on a windy afternoon and you can see what the air puts down.
Soap is not the part that matters. A wash takes off what is loose and leaves everything bonded to the clear coat, and a tunnel brush hands you the fine scratches you notice in the sun outside Cypress College.

Clean should outlast the drive home, not just the wash.
That is the difference between a fifteen dollar tunnel and what we do. Not how it looks in the driveway, but how it looks after two weeks on the 22 and the 405.
Most weeks we are working somewhere between Katella and Valley View, in the older tracts or the newer builds on the west side. Los Alamitos, La Palma and Stanton are a few minutes further out and still on the normal run.
Commuter miles are what make coating worth the money out here. Brake dust and road film bond quickly, and a coated surface lets most of it rinse off instead of setting in. Quick washes are what put the swirls there in the first place, so correction usually comes first, and anything that lives in traffic needs the inside reset too.

I am Jaycen. I have run Automotive Aptitude for four years and I am still the one holding the polisher. Over a thousand cars, from daily drivers to a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, all on the same process.
A lot of the cars I coat in Cypress are barely a year old, and that is the version of this job I like most. Protecting paint that is already perfect is quicker, cheaper and better looking than repairing paint that is not.
I am insured and I will show you the certificate. Ask me anything before you book. I would rather answer questions than have you guess.

Cypress questions we get a lot
Do you come out to Cypress?
Yes. Home base is Cerritos, so Cypress is a straight run down Valley View. Travel is quoted before you book and capped at $50, and most Cypress jobs come in at zero.
What do most people in Cypress book?
Ceramic coatings on newer cars. A lot of driveways here have something bought in the last couple of years, and protecting paint that is still perfect is the easiest win we offer.
I just bought the car. Is it too soon to coat it?
It is the ideal time. New paint needs almost no correction, so the whole job goes into protection instead of repair. Coating a car in its first months costs less and looks better than coating the same car in three years.
Do you work on Teslas and other EVs?
Often. Soft factory paint marks easily, which is why hand washing and proper technique matter more on these than on an older car. No high pressure near the charge port and no automated brushes, ever.
Why does my car spot so badly after a rinse?
Water around here is hard, and letting a car air dry leaves mineral rings every time. We dry by hand, panel by panel, so nothing sits long enough to etch. Spots that are still fresh polish right out.
Where do you set up?
Your driveway or your assigned space, whatever you have. Tell me which when you book. We bring our own water and power so nothing comes from your place.
How long does a full detail take?
Two to five hours depending on size and condition. Correction and coating run longer, and a coating needs cure time afterward, which I will explain before you book.
Do you work weekends in Cypress?
Yes. Saturday books out first. Weekday mornings are easier to get.
