Tired of your car never staying clean?
Park under the ficus trees in Uptown for dinner, and the hood is speckled before dessert. Add a dusty run up Turnbull Canyon and the car needs help again by Friday.
Whittier is old trees and hills. Sap and leaf litter in Uptown, dust off the canyon, and long sunny streets that show every swirl by golden hour on Whittier Boulevard.
A wash does not touch the bonded layer. Soap takes the loose dirt and leaves the rest sitting in the clear coat, and a tunnel brush adds the swirls you notice in the sun coming down out of the hills.
So we work on what is actually in the paint. We pull it out, polish back the marks you can see, then seal the finish so dust off the hills cannot bite in. Your driveway, our water and power.

That is the difference between a fifteen dollar tunnel and what we do. Not how it looks the day of, but how it looks after two weeks of hill dust and sun.
Most of our Whittier work happens in driveways around Uptown and on the streets climbing toward the hills. Parking gets tight up there, so we bring everything with us and take one space.
Sun is the real problem on this side of town. It bakes contamination into the clear coat and dulls trim faster than people expect, which is exactly what a coating is for. Older finishes usually want correction first.

Run your hand over your hood. Feel that grit? That is dirt stuck in the paint, and soap will not take it out. We pull it out and seal the paint back up. Your car will feel like glass.

The math
The cheap route costs more by spring
A wash every other week all year costs more than most people think, and the paint still ends up swirled. Protecting it once changes what every wash after that has to do.
The one-year coating is $800. The seven-year is $1,600 and works out to about $19 a month. Kept nice once beats fixed twice, and the longest option is the cheapest one to own.
Every coating includes fixing the paint first, because a coating locks in whatever is under it.
Whittier questions we get a lot
Do you charge extra to come out to Whittier?
Not for most of the city. Home base is Cerritos and Whittier is on the regular route. If a job sits well up in the hills, travel gets quoted before you book and it is capped at $50.
What do most people in Whittier book?
Correction with a sealant on top. Sun on this side of town is hard on paint, and most of the cars we see here need the finish brought back before anything else makes sense.
The trees on my street drop sap all over the car. Can that come off?
Yes, and Whittier is the worst city on our route for it. Fresh sap comes off cleanly. Sap that has baked in the sun etches the clear coat and needs polishing. Either way, a sealed finish stops the next round from bonding.
The paint is older and looks dull. Is it too far gone?
Usually not. Sun bakes contamination into the clear coat and years of washing leave swirls, and both of those read as dull. Pull the contamination out, polish the marks down, and most older paint comes back further than people expect.
My driveway is on a slope. Is that a problem?
No. Half the driveways up here are. We chock the car, work with the slope and manage the water so it is not running toward the garage. It is normal for us.
Can you come back and keep it that way?
Yes, and after a correction that is the cheapest way to own the car. Once the finish is right, keeping it right is a wash on a rhythm rather than another full job.
How long does a full detail take?
Two to five hours depending on size and condition. Correction runs five hours and up. Anything quoted at forty five minutes is a wash, not a detail.
Do you work weekends in Whittier?
Yes. Weekends fill first. Weekday mornings are easier to book and the light is better for spotting what actually needs work.
